Main office — meetings by appointment

The headquarters office sits just off Route 25A in East Setauket, minutes from Stony Brook University and Stony Brook University Hospital, and convenient to Port Jefferson, Setauket, Old Field, Poquott and the surrounding Three Village communities.

Most estate planning, elder law, probate and real estate matters are handled from this office. Meetings are by appointment; telephone and video consultations are available where appropriate, which matters for families coordinating across several households or from out of state.

Getting here

  • From Route 347 / Nesconset Highway: take Nicolls Road (County Road 97) north, then east on Route 25A into East Setauket; South Jersey Avenue is a short turn off 25A.

Parking and accessibility

Free off-street parking is available on site. If you need accommodation for mobility, hearing or vision, or would like the meeting arranged with a caregiver or family member present, mention it when scheduling and the firm will make arrangements.

For clients who cannot travel — a common situation in elder law matters where a client is hospitalized or in a rehabilitation facility — ask about alternate arrangements when you call.

What to bring

Whatever you have. Missing documents are normal — the firm can often obtain them — but the meeting is far more productive with the following in hand.

  • Any court papers, notices or servicer letters, with the envelopes
  • The recorded deed to any real property involved
  • Recent mortgage, home equity or reverse-mortgage statements
  • Property tax and homeowners insurance bills
  • Any existing will, trust, power of attorney or health care proxy
  • A list of accounts and how each is titled, plus beneficiary designation forms
  • A written list of your questions
