Satellite office — by appointment only

By appointment only. This is a satellite office rather than a staffed daily location. Please call 1-800-488-6734 to arrange a meeting before traveling here. Walk-in visits cannot be accommodated.

The Hampton Bays office exists so that clients on the South Fork and the East End do not have to drive to East Setauket for every meeting. It is used for consultations, document review and signings.

East End matters have their own texture: waterfront and flood-zone property, seasonal and second homes, families whose primary residence is elsewhere, houses that have been in one family for generations, and estates where a single parcel represents most of the value. Those facts change the planning, the probate and the sale.

Communities served from this office

Hampton Bays, Southampton, Water Mill, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Amagansett, Montauk, Westhampton and Westhampton Beach, Quogue, East Quogue, Remsenburg, Speonk, Eastport, Center Moriches, Riverhead, Flanders, Northampton, Shinnecock Hills and the surrounding East End hamlets.

Getting here

  • From Sunrise Highway (Route 27): Exit 64 or Exit 65 into Hampton Bays; Ponquogue Avenue runs south from Main Street toward Shinnecock Bay.
  • From Montauk Highway: follow into Hampton Bays and turn onto Ponquogue Avenue.
  • By train: the Hampton Bays station on the LIRR Montauk Branch is a short distance from the office.
  • Seasonal note: allow extra travel time on summer weekends, when eastbound and westbound traffic on Route 27 can be substantial.

Parking and accessibility

Parking is available nearby. Because the office operates by appointment, confirm the meeting time by phone and let the firm know if you need accessibility accommodation or expect to bring family members or a caregiver.

Where an in-person East End meeting is not practical, telephone and video consultations are available, and documents can often be reviewed in advance.

What to bring

Whatever you have. Missing documents are normal — the firm can often obtain them — but the meeting is far more productive with the following in hand.

  • Any court papers, notices or servicer letters, with the envelopes
  • The recorded deed to any real property involved
  • Recent mortgage, home equity or reverse-mortgage statements
  • Property tax and homeowners insurance bills
  • Any existing will, trust, power of attorney or health care proxy
  • A list of accounts and how each is titled, plus beneficiary designation forms
  • A written list of your questions
